My Favourite Aircraft

Bee Gee R-1 & R-2

A pole racer that was almost impossible to fly. Hard to believe that is was built in the 1930s.

Douglas DC3

Also known as the Dakota. Another old aircraft. Built in the 1940s and still flying. I just like the shape. A classic.

Spitfire

Just love the top view. The elliptical wing leading edge is very graceful.

Westland Wessex

I've had a long fascination for this helicopter. The pilot sits on top and the engine in mounted in the nose. Shame about the large exhaust out the side of the node though.

Warthog A-10

Tank buster. Don't like what it is used for but such and unusual design.

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI

Westland Lysander IIA
